We had a amazing few days in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Like in most of the cities we went for a free walking tour around the new city center. It was really informative and probably the only site seeing thing we did during the day.
We were lucky that our hostel was at an amazing location and our room had some pretty great views of the main avenue in Buenos Aires – Avenue de Mayo.
On our first day we had an amazing evening when we made it to the drums show called La Bomba De Tiempo. I highly recommend if you are in Buenos Aires on a Monday you got to see this.
It was a group of 20 odd artists showcasing some amazing heart pounding beats. There are some videos on youtube must check it out.
Here is the show in full swing and this is where we met some amazing people. It was good fun to be with Karim. And we met the group of friends from New Zealand.
And our buddy friend during our stay in Buenos Aires was Karim. Below on our way to the show this is Karim and Molly just pretending to find out the way to our destination.
On another day we went for the Tango and Dinner show in Buenos Aires. While I danced and posed with a Tango dancer Molly had the best steak ever.
I read about going to San Telmo to experience the local culture. The Feria de San Pedro Telmo it was a really chillout place and I had a memorable evening enjoying the local wine and watching Tango on the streets of Buenos Aires.
And I was very with impressed with the lady tango dancer that I ended up giving a good amount of tip for their performance.
We enjoyed our stay in Buenos Aires and hopefully next time will like to stay longer and learn Tango. So until next time adiós.
