So while we were in Yangon, Myanmar we did few touristi things like others. One is to get the circular train ride in the local Yangon train on 15 June 2015. It was a wet day so it made it nice and cool. The highlight of the evening was this sticker sign in the train. Do you find it funny too?

On the last day, riding 300 km from Dalat to Saigon, we completed our 2300 km+ road trip from Hanoi to Saigon. We arrived in Saigon and crashed in a restaurant to have our lunch/dinner & few beers. It was a wonderful experience to spend the last 26 days on road (more or less) on our bikes. It took us across the length of Vietnam, in the mountains, in the valleys, through cities and some rocky terrain. With no bike troubles we were lucky. Read more

Visiting Dandeli, Karnataka, India
MnM and our couple friends GKC and PS spent our Christmas long weekend visiting Dandeli, a forest reserve in Northern Karnataka. The drive through the forest was good and we happen to stumble upon a beautiful village on the way, with just 8 houses. After meeting a local family we self invited us forma cup of tea. That was our wish come true. This village man was humble, he had a young daughter and a 3 month old son. The time spent with our friends will be in our memories forever. Here are few pics. Read more

5 days in BodhGaya
~~ Why Bodhgaya – Background ~~
While booking train tickets to visit Puri in east of India I came across the list of places where the train stops. One of them was Gaya. On mentioning this to my mother there was an instant smile on her face. She wanted to visit Gaya to perform a hindu ceremony. And my interest in Buddhism has longed me to visit Bodhgaya since 2010. It was a perfect deal. So I decided to split our return journey from Puri to Delhi via Gaya. Initially I booked 2 night stay in Bodhgaya but when I found option of living in a monastery I changed the plans and increased the stay to 5 days. Read more
Visiting Puri, Orissa, INDIA
November 2014 : Puri trip for me was a mixed experience. On the positive side I was glad that my mother was satisfied and content on visiting the Jagannath Temple in Puri. That was the whole purpose of the trip anyways – to get mum to visit the 4 Dhaams at 4 corners (direction) in India – this being the first one. Seeing my mum happy and understanding what it means to her was for me the most satisfying thing which makes this trip worth.
